O. Henry (William Sydney Porter, 1862-1910) was an American short-story writer. In his writing, O. It was cool to read his last and first stories.

This is a collection of early published writings and letters by O. Henry. The casual reader will not find in this book the well-polished short stories for which O. Henry is celebrated. This collection does however provide some insight for the interested reader into the development of his unique storytelling ability.
